As most of the world can imagine, Christians love to think about Heaven. Especially during these present days filled with crime, destruction, national disasters, and just down right times of fear, we find ourselves looking upward and saying, “I’m ready God. I’m ready for those streets of gold, those pearly gates, to see my missing loved ones.”
But it seems that a little thing called the New York Times Bestseller List is proof positive that many Americans - Christian and non-Christian – are very interested in Heaven.
The following link attests to my lofty thinking:
Have you ever had a dream about Heaven? If so, please share a comment of that experience below.
Until next time!

One of my favorite songs right now is about being heaven-minded… and I do believe there is a stirring all over our planet for partnering with the things we imagine are in heaven… and praying that wonderful prayer Jesus first taught the disciples for God’s will to be done, here on earth, as it is in heaven. As I watched this video I couldn’t help but think of all the open heaven encounters we are encouraged to have… while still in this physical body. I cherish those as real spiritual markers that this indwelling life IS real, and I thank God for making Himself so real to me. In Ephesians 1:18, the apostle Paul talks about our spiritual eyes and prays that “the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance of the saints….” I do think eyes of understanding are critical, especially when I learned that in the Greek, understanding is translated the mind and the imagination. So for me, I’m learning and practicing how to set my mind on things above. One way we can exercise our spiritual eyes is to look not at the things, which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. I am so encouraged by what others share (and I thank you Laura for sharing), whether it’s their experiences or things God has revealed to them in the Scriptures. May we as a Body be hungry for that, and get more and more glimpses in our spirit of what the heavens look like… and then walk it out as Jesus modeled for us. May we be consumed with the passion of seeing Jesus glorified in the earth.
